LIAA – Local Infrastructure Audit App · Last updated: October 2026Summary
LIAA works on your device. It has no personal user accounts, no advertising, and it does not track you. On the website and the installed web app, one shared sign-in opens the app; the Android app does not ask for it. Your inspection records and photos stay on your phone or computer and are not uploaded to a database.
Data stored on your device
- Building records, inspection answers, scores, photos and settings you enter. These are kept in your browser or app storage.
- A device PIN that you set the first time you open the app. The PIN is never sent anywhere. Saved inspections and photos are encrypted on the device with it.
Sign-in (website and installed app)
- The website and the installed web app use one shared username and password. It is not a personal account, and we do not ask for your name, email or phone number to sign in.
- The shared sign-in is checked on our server. A cookie on your device keeps you signed in for 30 days. Use Sign out in the app menu to remove it. Signing out does not delete your saved buildings.
- A security check (Cloudflare Turnstile) may appear to tell people from automated programs. It uses technical signals from your browser and your request address, and may set a cookie that remembers you passed for 30 days.
Data sent over the internet
- Location lookups: when you use GPS or pick a place, the coordinates are sent to hazard and map services (for example PHIVOLCS-based hazard data and USGS earthquake data) to return the result.
- AI defect scan (only when you tap it): the photo you choose is sent through our server to an AI provider to detect visible defects. The image is processed to return a result and is not used to create an account profile.
- Place names: region, province and city lists are loaded from the Philippine Standard Geographic Code (PSGC) data.
- Our server records normal technical logs, such as time and request address, for security and troubleshooting.
Permissions
Camera and photos (to attach building pictures), and location (to fill in coordinates and fetch hazard data). Each is used only when you use that feature and can be turned off in your device settings.
Sharing and sale
We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising. Files you export (PDF, Excel, JSON) go only where you choose to save or send them.
Security and retention
Data sent over the internet uses HTTPS. Our server keeps only the normal technical logs described above. Inspection records and photos are not saved on our server, so there is nothing of yours to delete there.
Deleting your data
Clearing the app's storage, or uninstalling the app, removes all data it holds on your device.
Children
LIAA is a work tool for building inspectors and is not directed at children.
